Returns & Exchanges

Kline Music strives to provide an amazing shopping experience and superior customer service both online and in person. If for any reason you are not content with your purchase, we gladly accept returns and exchanges within seven days from the date of purchase with receipt and in new, unused condition with original packaging. Some items purchased through special promotions may be final sale, and therefore not eligible for exchanges or returns (please refer to promotion disclaimers for the terms of each offer).

Merchandise

We offer three easy return options: (1) return to Kline Music for store credit; (2) exchange for another item; (3) return for a refund minus a 10% restocking fee. To ensure that all returns and exchanges are handled fairly, Kline Music may decline your return or exchange in some situations, such as: 

  • Products that were not bought directly from Kline Music
  • Products that have been damaged or defaced
  • Products with missing labels
  • Products without receipts or store IDs
  • Products that have been lost or damaged to the point where they aren't usable

The following items are not returnable: 

  • Individual Reeds/Opened Reed Boxes
  • Individual Strings/Opened String Packages
  • Printed music: includes songbooks, single sheets, and digital downloads
  • Mouth-blown instruments: includes harmonicas, jaw harps, and melodicas
  • Bows
  • Mouthpieces
  • Drumsticks
  • Earrings
  • Tambourines

Rentals

All of our rentals start out with a two month non-refundable minimum. You are free to return your rental at any time but we recommend you give yourself at least the full two months to familiarize yourself with the instrument. All equipment must be returned to the Kline Music store location during regular business hours and should be in the same condition as when received by renter, subject to normal wear and tear. Rentals must be returned to the agreed return location as specified on the rental document. If the instrument(s) to a different location other than the agreed return location without our permission, you agree to pay the monthly rental fee until said instrument(s) is returned to our store location.
